Streamlining remote payments with instant payment solutions
In 2018, Paul Haddow left his corporate career to launch The Expat Group in Dubai, bringing his background as an engineer and his commitment to British service standards to the local market. In just under a year, word-of-mouth demand outpaced their capacity, prompting a rapid expansion of operations. As demand grew, Josh Williams joined as a business partner.
The Expat Group's business model's foundation is streamlined professionalism and efficiency, completing repairs and installations while their clients are offsite. The only roadblock to their efficient business model was their payment process. Reliance on outmoded methods of elaborate bank transfers and manual credit card swipes presented significant operational challenges, particularly in enforcing upfront payment and settling invoices upon completion—leaving both customers and staff frustrated.
